From Gülhane Military Medical Academy to Cleveland Clinic and Nişantaşı.
- 1986
Begins medical school at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA).
- 1995–2001
Residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Gülhane Military Medical Academy.
- 2005–2013
Assistant professor, Dicle University Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Burn Unit. Founds the Dicle University Burn Center in Diyarbakır: 24 beds, 8 of them intensive care.
- 2006–2007
Microsurgery research fellow at Cleveland Clinic, USA, working with Dr. Maria Siemionow on composite tissue allotransplantation.
- 2011–2012
Clinical fellowship in microsurgery at Cleveland Clinic under Dr. Risal Djohan, working with Dr. James Zins and Dr. Frank Papay.
- 2013–2020
Head of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Health Sciences’ Bağcılar and Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospitals. Founds the burn centre at Bağcılar; serves as chief physician of both hospitals.

Receives the title of Professor.
- 2021
Founds MT Clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, where he sees patients.
- 2023
Founds Kherion Biotechnology and Health Technologies R&D Inc. and chairs its board; research and development in cellular therapies and tissue engineering.
